Textile Art of Sheila Thompson

These vibrant wall hangings are created using a wet felting process.  Wool, silk and organic materials are
worked with hot, soapy water on a bamboo mat into a unique textile.  No glue or sewing is used as the
microscopic barbs of the wool fasten together during felting and create a natural bond.
